Students and teaching staff at Henri-Bourassa high school in Montreal North are said to be confined within the walls of the establishment after a “possibly armed” individual was seen in the vicinity.

A police operation was underway at the end of the afternoon in this sector of the city. Several police officers carried out checks to validate the information received.

No arrests were reportedly made and no one was injured.
