The special programs after the death of British Queen Elizabeth II continue to attract interest from German TV audiences. On Friday, an average of 3.62 million people (15.1 percent) watched the ARD “Focus: Mourning for the Queen” from 8:15 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. The "ZDF special: Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II." saw 2.98 million (13.9 percent) between 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

The first regular edition of the ZDF "heute show" with Oliver Welke after a 13-week summer break reached 3.17 million (17.7 percent) in the evening from 10:35 p.m. The last edition of the satirical show before the summer break was watched by around 4.1 million on June 10th.

Jan Böhmermann's second "ZDF Magazin Royale" after the summer break from 11:10 p.m. saw 1.39 million (9.8 percent) - slightly more than the week before. The show, which is available in the ZDF media library from 8 p.m., generally collects quite a few views in streaming. Many fans like to watch it online instead of linearly.

In the regular primetime programs, ZDF was ahead with its Friday thriller "Mordsschwestern - Krim ist Familiensache" and 4.50 million viewers (18.6 percent).

Behind it was the first with the ARD series "Die Eifelpraxis: Unter Druck", which had 3.02 million viewers (12.6 percent) from 8.40 p.m.

The Friday edition of the talent show "The Voice of Germany" watched 1.88 million viewers (8.1 percent) on Sat.1 from 8.15 p.m., the comic action film "Thor: Day of Decision" on ProSieben 1.39 million (6, 1 percent), the RTL show "Lego Masters" 1.05 million (4.4 percent), the Vox docu-soap "Goodbye Germany! Love to the end of the world" 0.79 million (3.3 percent), the "Navy CIS" series on Kabel Eins 0.61 million (2.5 percent) and the action film "Operation: 12 Strong" on RTLzwei 0.52 million (2.2 percent).
