The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has specified this Saturday that its 'black list' of senior American officials who have been prohibited from entering the country amounts to 963 affected, starting with the president of the United States, Joe Biden -- as already announced in March --, the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin or the director of the CIA, William Burns.

"In the context of the response to ongoing anti-Russian sanctions and in connection with incoming inquiries about the composition of our list, the Russian Foreign Ministry has published the register of American citizens who are permanently prohibited from entering the Russian Federation. Russian", according to the statement collected by the TASS agency.

The list, a retaliation for US sanctions against the Russian invasion of Ukraine, also includes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Democratic Party Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, as well as other congressmen. and senators, mostly from the Democratic Party, like Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.

Also included in the text is President Biden's son, Hunter, a former director of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma and accused by the Republican opposition of incurring an alleged "conflict of interest" by carrying out these activities when his father was vice president of the United States.

"We want to emphasize," the statement added, "that the hostile actions undertaken by Washington will act as a boomerang against it, and will continue to receive the appropriate rejection from Russia."

"Russia does not seek confrontation and is open to honest and mutually respectful dialogue, separating the American people, who invariably enjoy our respect, from the American authorities, who incite Russophobia," he concludes.
