Will Smith's first red carpet appearance since Oscar scandal

Will Smith (54) is back: After the Oscar slap for Chris Rock (57), the actor is now making a comeback. Smith made his first red carpet appearance in eight months at the premiere of his new film, Emancipation, in Los Angeles on Wednesday. He did not complete the radiant performance alone – his family was there: wife Jada Pinkett Smith (51) and the children Trey (30), Willow (22) and Jaden (24).

Smith appeared in a burgundy three-piece suit, including a soft pink mandarin collar shirt with a statement sparkly button. His wife wore a high-necked white dress with a long train that wrapped around her legs like a cloud. The kids looked stylish too, with Trey wearing a similar suit to his dad, Willow rhinestone hipsters and waistcoat and Jaden wearing a printed oversized suit with a matching long coat.

Striking: While the couple sometimes posed for the photographers as a couple, they always had physical contact, and Smith kissed his wife several times on her shaved head.

Smith has been on a sort of "apology tour" for the past few weeks while also promoting his new film. Most recently, he explained on Trevor Noah's (38) show that hurt people hurt people and that he lost his mind when he stormed the stage to avenge his wife for a comedian's joke with violence.

The scandal at the Oscars 2022 had made waves. The actor was banned from the event for ten years for his slap in the face.
