Nick and Priyanka announced their firstborn on Friday, January 21st on their Instagram accounts. The gender and name of the child were not revealed by them. "We are thrilled to announce that we have accepted a surrogate baby. As we are focusing on our family, we respectfully request privacy during this time. "Thank you so much (heart emoticon)," the couple shared in a joint statement.

Priyanka married Nick in a Christian ceremony at Jodhpur Umaid Bhawan Palace, while Nick was married in a Hindu ceremony. The couple hosted two receptions in Mumbai and Delhi for friends from the film industry.

Her Bollywood film Jee Le Zaraa is due to be shot alongside Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatti. Farhan Akhtar is the movie's director. He has previously worked with Priyanka in Don and Don 2.
