Mountain rescue services were called to Digne-les-Bains' Saint-Vincent chapel pathway, on Sunday, May 29, at 4:45 p.m. to care for a 16-year-old girl. As she was walking down the trail, she fell unconscious and lost consciousness.

She was alerted to the arrival of two rescuers from Jausiers High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoons (PGHM) and a physician from the National Association of Mountain Physicians and Rescuerss (ANMSM), and was flown to the hospital in Digne-les-Bains by the helicopter of Digne-les-Bains gendarmerie.
