SPD parliamentary group leader: Losse-Müller calls for better communication of traffic light successes

Schleswig-Holstein's SPD parliamentary group leader Thomas Losse-Müller (SPD) has called for more offensive communication from his party at federal level. "It's also a bit due to the SPD's understanding of politics, which prefers to turn the screws in the machine room to make everything work than stand on the podium," said Losse-Müller of the German Press Agency. The SPD is the formative force of the traffic light coalition.

"The big relief packages come from the SPD parliamentary group," said Losse-Müller. She pushed this through against the Greens and the FDP. "If something doesn't go well, others are always quick to point to the chancellor. A little less pose would do everyone good."

The bottom line is that the traffic lights are doing a good job, said Losse-Müller. "Even if many people criticize that there is a crunch - it's a really productive process. The results are all impressive!"

In the north, black-green political work is different. "CDU and Greens sell smoke candles as a solution and otherwise refer to Berlin," said Losse-Müller. At the same time, the alliance at federal level clearly shows "that in some cases very different political approaches can provide solutions, even if this then crunches in operation". At the federal level, many good decisions have been made in the past six months and large relief packages have been decided under difficult conditions.
