Lowe's Canada: 500 jobs to be filled in its Quebec stores

The labor shortage is sparing no sector, to such an extent that Lowe's Canada, owner of the RONA and Réno-Dépôt stores, is seeking to fill 500 jobs for the summer period.

These positions are offered in the approximately 450 corporate and affiliated stores of various brands, while the construction and renovation sector should regain strength for the summer.

The company is mainly looking to recruit from the student population looking for a summer job.

"We value internal growth a lot at Lowe's Canada and our store associates are an excellent pool of talent for our head office positions," Nadine Chiasson, director of talent acquisition at Lowe's Canada, said in a statement Thursday.

In addition to these positions offered in store, others are to be filled at the Boucherville distribution center.
