In the North American basketball professional league NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers celebrated their third win in a row in the absence of the ailing LeBron James. Led by an outstanding Dennis Schröder, the Lakers beat the Miami Heat 112:109.

The German national player showed his best performance of the season so far. A few seconds before the end he sunk two crucial free throws.
