People: Julia Beautx doesn't want to be seen as a youtube girl

Julia Beautx would like to be perceived more as an actress in the future. "It's important to me that I'm not just called a Youtuber, who now also wants to act," she told the German Press Agency before the start of the ZDF mini-series "Yesterday we were still children".

The 23-year-old has 2.41 million subscribers on YouTube, 3.8 million followers on Tiktok and 3.4 million followers on Instagram. She has gained her huge fan base with everyday tips as well as cosmetic and lifestyle topics, among other things.

"It was presented like this from the start: Youtubers or influencers can't do anything, are only where they are because they have followers and they only get roles or opportunities because they are known," criticized the 23-year-old. She admits that she got the chance to play smaller roles in the beginning because of her reach on YouTube. But that is no longer the case. "I'm basically just a young actress who's kind of new to this," she explained.

In the seven-part ZDF mini-series "Yesterday we were still children", the young actress plays a girl whose family is falling apart. The series begins on Monday (January 9) at 8:15 p.m.

Julia Beautx can also be seen in the new season of the RTL dance show "Let's Dance" from February 17th.
