A barbecue afternoon between two couples gets out of hand when Oliver's (Fabian Busch) boss Lars (Axel Stein) joins them unasked and drives a wedge between the friends. Suffering from the effects of a debt crisis, the two couples have to let go of the cloak of their harmony as Lars gradually enrages each and every one of them with his twisted beliefs and forces them to take a stand.

Flooding in Krumau am Kamp: three infant bodies are found in the basement of the Trummler family's farm, which has long been uninhabited - two girls and one boy. The children were suffocated immediately after birth and buried on the spot. The infant deaths were more than ten years ago. This cannot be said exactly at first, also because all family members have either been dead or disappeared for a long time. Marion Reiter (Regina Fritsch) from the homicide squad in St. Pölten and the inexperienced but persistent local police officer Ulli Herzog (Julia Franz Richter) take up the investigation.

Lawyer Alex (Ina Paule Klink) is representing her boyfriend Ekki Talkötter (Oliver Korittke) in a lawsuit for damages. Ekki slipped on a spilled yogurt in the supermarket and tore a ligament. The statement on his bonus card proves that he bought large quantities of alcohol. Immediately after the surprising twist in the process, the branch manager of the supermarket is killed. Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) not only has to investigate a murder, but also save Ekki's head.

After the death of her mother, young babydoll (Emily Browning) is locked up in a mental hospital by her vicious stepfather. Completely traumatized, she flees into a fantasy world in order to be able to deal with the situation better. But soon she joins forces with Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish), Rocket (Jena Malone) and Amber (Jamie Chung) and tries to escape from the clutches of nurse Blue Jones (Oscar Isaac) and resident doctor Vera to free Gorski (Carla Gugino).
