The councilor for the Healthy City and Responsible Consumption of Talavera de la Reina, Marta Ramos, highlighted that this Thursday a new adulticide treatment has been carried out to minimize the impact of mosquitoes in the urban area of ​​the city.

Marta Ramos has pointed out that after the larvicide treatment carried out last Monday and in compliance with the calendar, this Thursday it has been accompanied by an adulticide treatment to maximize its efficiency.

Thus, action has been taken in the urban area of ​​the city coinciding with the celebration this weekend of an event with a large influx such as the Capital Fest, with the main objective of "minimizing the impact that these chironomids create in said place".

The councilor has also pointed out that this treatment acts not only on mosquitoes, but also on all kinds of arthropods that proliferate most in the city these days due to the considerable increase in temperatures.
