The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Morro Jable, in Fuerteventura, has administratively denounced two drivers, one of a car and the other of a mechanical shovel for driving with a motor vehicle along the coastal coastline of Playa de la Barca in the municipality of Pajara.

They have been located as a result of the publication of a video on social networks in which the described infraction was observed, which launched an investigation by the components of the Morro Jable Main Post.

The appropriate steps were immediately initiated, which made it possible to know the exact date and place of the events, due to the characteristics of the coastal coastline of Playa de la Barca, located in the northern area of Playa de Sotavento and which is classified as a protected natural area. .

Once the facts were located in place and time, the Civil Guard carried out the appropriate checks to find out the identity of the offenders, turning out to be two residents of Majorera Island known to each other. With all these data, together with the video in which the detected irregularity is clearly observed, the Civil Guard made a total of four complaints.

In the video, published by the local media Onda Fuerteventura, the drivers laugh and cheer "how nice" while driving along the coast. When the vehicle is trapped, they are heard asking "Let's see how we get out of this and who do we call."

The complaints filed against the two drivers are typified as two administrative infractions for non-compliance with the General Regulation of Coasts for carrying out unauthorized circulation with a motor vehicle in the area and the other two for infraction of the legislative decree on land planning and protected areas of the Canary Islands for driving off the slopes set up in protected natural areas.

All of them have been sent to the competent Authority of the Territorial Demarcation of Coasts of Las Palmas and the Ministry of the Environment of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura respectively, which will determine the seriousness of the facts and the amount of the corresponding sanction.
