A 15-year-old boy has been transferred to the University Hospital of Toledo after being run over at a pedestrian crossing on Calle Alberche, at number 18, in the neighborhood of Santa María de Bequerencia, very close to the hospital.

The events occurred around 8:15 a.m. on Thursday. The wounded man was crossing the street at the crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle and the dazzle of the driver, who has tested negative for drugs, is not ruled out, municipal sources have reported. The victim has been taken by ambulance to the hospital and his condition is stable.

According to the Castilla-La Mancha 112 Emergency Service, Local Police and an ambulance have intervened in the operation.
