Bodega Soledad has achieved unprecedented success by positioning its Honest GSM 2019 wine as the only red wine with a gold medal from the southern half of Spain and the only winner from Castilla-La Mancha in the 'Grenaches du Monde' competition, which recognizes the best world wines made with the Garnacha variety.

Honest GSM 2019 is made mainly from the Garnacha variety, accompanied by the Monastrell and Syrah varieties. A creation in times of a pandemic by winemaker Milagros Romero Torres and that is positioning itself among the best in Castilla-La Mancha for its quality and a price of around 6 euros, making it one of the best purchases on the market.

The Honest range is designed in the year of the pandemic.

Between samples and tastings, in full confinement, Milagros Romero Torres, winemaker at Bodega Soledad, designs two wines with coupages that are unusual in Spain. A white made with Verdejo, Viura and Sauvignon Blanc and the GSM red, made with Grenache, Syrah and Monastrell.

Both wines have already received important awards such as a double gold medal in the Magnum Wine contest, or 91 and 92 points in the La Semana Vitivinícola guide.

The 2022 edition of the 'Grenaches Du Monde' contest took place from May 4 to 6 in Olite (Navarra) and nearly 1,000 wines participated in which the main variety is Grenache from different origins such as France, Italy, the United States and Spain.
