A 59-year-old man was injured this Wednesday when he fell into an empty swimming pool in a house on Calle San Sebastián in the Toledo town of Bargas, where he was working on maintenance tasks.

The Castilla-La Mancha 112 Emergency Service received notice of the event at 4:05 p.m. The man, apparently, was on the edge of the pool, tripped and fell into it, two meters deep.

Members of the Civil Guard and the Local Police have traveled to the place, as well as an ICU, which has transferred him to the University Hospital of Toledo.
