Moving from 7th position to first during the competition, MC KJT was crowned the big winner of the second season of “The End of the Weak” on Tuesday evening.

At the unveiling of the results of this grand finale, the rapper came in second to last place for his improvisation, but he then obtained the perfect score for his a cappella, tied with VOICE. At the end of the five events, it was with a score of 113.33/125 that he won the honors.

This victory is for him a huge boost from his community in which he has worked for many years as a radio host (“Les Arshitechs du son”) and rapper. "It's the biggest pat on the back I've ever had in my life. It's been a while since I started doing this and to be validated by my colleagues, my peers, it's really an encouragement and it will allow me to have perhaps more impact next time. that I will speak publicly, and when I release music, I dare to hope that there will be a few more people listening,” he shared in an interview with the QMI Agency.

In addition to representing Quebec at the world grand final of the “End Of the Weak” competition in New York, all expenses paid, KJT won the production of a music video. Which is timely for the MC who has big plans for the upcoming release of his first solo album which he is currently working on and which should be called “Lettres de noblesse”.

For his first disc, some songs of which are already recorded, the rapper did not want any “featuring” with other artists – a rather rare occurrence on the rap scene these days.

“The theme of my album is the letters of nobility that I win with one hand and give back with the other. It was super important for me not to have any "featuring" on my first album because I really wanted to prove that I was capable of doing everything on my own. On the other hand, in my next albums, there will certainly be some,” he explained.

Moreover, the idea of ​​making a song with the eight participants of the last season of "The end of the weak" is not excluded, it is even very probable, entrusted KJT, adding that all the candidates were packed with the idea and that they were working to implement everything.

The four finalists of the second season of "The End of the Weak", VOICE, D-Baby, Helmé and KJT will be performing on Saturday on the Cabaret BMO stage in Sainte-Thérèse as part of the Santa Teresa festival. For the first time in the adventure, the MCs will perform in front of an audience.

For the occasion, they will recreate the formula seen on the show, with the different tests. “The competitive aspect, I leave it a little aside, we go there to put on a show. There will be a winner, but it will be fun. We are going to clap our hands and we are going to hug each other, ”said KJT, who still intends to appear on stage fully loaded.
