The PSOE accuses the Board of making "propaganda of Mañueco" at a school meeting in Salamanca

The spokesman for Education of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Cortes of Castilla y León, Fernando Pablos, has registered a battery of questions about an act carried out in Salamanca by schools of the city and that, as he has denounced «without prior notice to the directors of the centers or the parents of the students, the Board turned Alfonso Fernández Mañueco into an act of propaganda».

According to the PSOE, the meeting was organized on the occasion of Europe Day and was also intended to be a show of support for the people of Ukraine, but, "to the surprise of directors, teachers and parents", Fernández Mañueco made an appearance while "the minors they were encouraged to yell 'president, president'."

The PSOE has transferred an alleged "discomfort" of teachers and parents that occurred by not informing them in advance of Fernández Mañueco's attendance or his "political use", since the Directorate of Communication provided the press with images and photographs.

For this reason, the Socialist Group has asked in parliament if the Board considers it "reasonable" to turn a school activity into a "political act" without having previously informed the families; if the images disseminated respected the authorizations or if the families were asked for permission to use them; or if, in the future, Fernández Mañueco's attendance at "strictly school" activities will be previously communicated.
