The 'Let yourself go' Program of the Zamora Tourist Board has scheduled a total of 65 guided tours in the province aimed at tourists, to give them the opportunity to discover the tourist attractions that, in this edition, are expanded with sections such as Forests and Heritage .

"We must remember that this is not an activity for Zamoranos, but for the tourists who visit us, so that they complement their activities and take away a good taste of our province," warned the second vice president of the Provincial Council of Zamora and Provincial Deputy for Education, Culture, Sports, Tourism and Promotion of the Territory, Jesús María Prada, during the presentation of the initiative.

«Until now, there were two types of guided tours, specifically, an urban 'Let yourself go', with guided tours by the Professional Association of Tourist Guides of the province through different towns and a second program through hiking trails.

Added to them this year are 'Let yourself be carried away by our forests' and 'Let yourself be carried away by our heritage', he indicated.

In 2021, the section 'Let yourself be carried away by our towns' scheduled a total of 34 guided visits through the municipalities of Toro, Benavente, Puebla de Sanabria, Villardeciervos and Fermoselle and this year the figure rises to 43 through those same municipalities, in addition to incorporating that of Villalpando. "Depending on the result obtained, it will be maintained or expanded with more visits in the future," Prada Saavedra pointed out.

The guided hiking routes go from nine counted in 2021 to 11 this year. In this way, the Turma active tourism company will be in charge of two routes in Alcañices and four in Fermoselle, just like last year, and the CryoSanabria Association will be in charge of carrying out several routes in the Sanabria region, specifically, a new one in Lubián, another in the high mountains of Sanabresa and two more in Villardeciervos and Galende.
