Singer Jeanick Fournier's wish has come true: she will be making the grand finale of Canada's Got Talent.

She was chosen by the public after a popular vote which aimed to propel to the final stage two of the seven participants who had not been able to obtain support during the semi-finals.

“Thank you, thank you so much. I'm ready, ”exclaimed the 49-year-old artist from Chicoutimi, learning of his selection in a video posted by CGT on Thursday evening.

Jeanick Fournier had charmed the judges with his breathtaking interpretations of the songs I Surrender, by Celine Dion, and Never Enough, from the film Le maître de la scène, during his first two appearances on the City-TV program.

The final will be broadcast live on May 17.
