Many people visited the center of Bergerac (Dordogne) to see the art of street artists as part of Art Tak Festival. Five artists were invited to create frescoes at five locations in the city's first edition, which ran from Thursday 26 May to Saturday 28 Mai. The long Ascension weekend was a great motivator for the crowds, and the weather was particularly good.

Alex Verdenne, one festival organizer, rejoiced that "there are many people and people are really joyful." We have had no negative feedback, zero criticism. It offers a new vision of street art. Julien Vallat (the founder of the event) confirms that he distributed 3,000 leaflets as of Friday. It will be necessary to plan for the second year. The association also had at most twenty members.

We are also happy for the artists. Many of them were very happy with the warm welcome they received. The organizers know this is not an issue, as they already plan for the next edition. They still hope to attract talented artists.

Stom500, a graffiti artist, says that this festival offers an opportunity to meet other artists. We meet at the bar in evening and hang out on the wall during the day. "Some people have been friends for many years, while others are just starting out.
