It took over a year for scientific and technical surveys to speak. This week, a man was arrested for a burglary committed a year ago in a home in Villeneuve-les-Salines.

A couple was awakened in the middle of the night by a loud noise at their home. The couple were then confronted by a burglar in their kitchen. The thief, who was caught between the two residents, had taken a knife and fought with the owner of this property. The brawl had left him with injuries. He was finally able to flee the scene, but not without leaving some blood traces.

The analyses have spoken. The suspect was identified and arrested. On July 8, he will stand trial before the La Rochelle Criminal Court.
