Bordeaux: "To be a groomer it was Marmande, or at Cat'Pattes."

According to Catherine Deletoille, there are only a few in the metropolis. "I feel that there are fewer hairdressers than 25 years ago. We are two of the Chartrons, and there are forty hairdressers.

The groomer has managed several salons throughout her career, from Canada to Chartrons and Bordeaux Bastide. "The profession hasn't changed much except for a few dog colourists. However, the French aren't ready in terms of accessories and decoration. We are still far from Asian fashion.

It is more about its trainees that the novelty concerns. "I have a lot of conversions, that is new. Forty-year-olds who don't want a boss. You can earn a decent living if you are able to do the job right, but it is not easy.

Catherine has been training five people per year for the last fifteen years thanks to her Qualiopi certification. Isabelle was born in Blayais and came to the Qualiopi certification to get it. "It was either Cat'Pattes in Bordeaux or Marmande school."

She is now able to brush and wash customers' feet.
