Agents of the National Police have arrested a 26-year-old woman in Soria, a resident of the city, as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of injury and mistreatment in the family, by assaulting her brother, throwing boiling oil at him.

The events, as confirmed by CNP sources, occurred last Sunday morning at the family home. Apparently, there was an argument between the detainee and her brother, a minor. After this fight, the woman went to the kitchen where she took a pan, which contained boiling oil. She returned to the room, where her brother was, and threw the contents of the pan at her, causing burns to various parts of her body.

Quickly, other relatives who were in the house notified the emergency services, and National Police and Local Police agents appeared at the home, as well as medical personnel, who, after a first assistance, decided to transfer the injured person to the Santa Bárbara Hospital. from this city.

The victim had burns to the head, chest and back and after being treated and evaluated at the hospital in this city, he was referred to the La Paz Hospital in Madrid.

The alleged perpetrator of the events was arrested and taken to police facilities, where after giving a statement and at the end of the police proceedings, she was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
