The final preparations have begun in Sanxenxo for its ten great days of competition with the celebration, first of all, of the 7th edition of the Rey Juan Carlos El Corte Inglés Master Regatta between Friday the 10th and Sunday the 12th, which will be the fourth series of the Spanish Cup and will in turn act as a great prelude to the Xacobeo 6mR Worlds, the 6 Meter class World Championship that from June 13 to 18 will host 41 teams from 15 countries in Sanxenxo to compete in the sailing event of most important world character of Spain in 2022.

Pedro Campos, as president of the Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, wanted to highlight the work that the club has been doing in recent years: "The great moment that we have been waiting for several years is finally approaching and that will make Sanxenxo in the coming days the center of world sailing”.

Campos set the bar for the organizational capacity of the last two major events in Sanxenxo, stating that “as the organizing club we will try to repeat, and even surpass, the great successes achieved in the Spanish and European Championships in the last two years. The best sailors in the world will meet in our waters to win some of the numerous trophies at stake”.

From the point of view as a sailor, Pedro Campos, as the current world and European champion of the class, set the objective of the boat built by José Cusí: "As the crew of the "Bribon 500" our great challenge will be to try to revalidate the double World title won in Canada and Finland”.

Sanxenxo has the particularity that its marina is public and access is free for any visitor, which is why the president of the Real Club Náutico put a lot of emphasis on the information on each of the boats from the docks. "I want to encourage everyone to visit Sanxenxo these days, in whose marina, they will be able to see the entire fleet, both modern and classic," he said.
