The tractor driver tore the steering wheel to the left. According to initial findings, the train caught the tractor on its right front and threw it against a St. Andrew's cross. The train came to a standstill shortly after the level crossing. According to information from the police, neither the 13 occupants of the excursion trailer nor the 43 passengers of the regional train were injured in the collision.
