Police officers from the Sûreté du Québec pinned a 43-year-old man from Magog, in the Eastern Townships, on Tuesday for criminal offenses relating to child pornography.

David Gosselin appeared by videoconference at the Sherbrooke courthouse on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Police officers specializing in the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet conducted a search of Gosselin's home, where computer equipment was seized for analysis.
