Hertha BSC apparently has to find a new solution for Fredrik Björkan. According to Dutch information, the left-back's loan will end early in the winter.

Björkan joined Hertha ablsöefrei last winter - but he could not convince in the second half of the past season. The Norwegian only made ten appearances (including relegation), mostly as a substitute. Unsurprisingly, both parties agreed in the summer to go their separate ways for the time being. A loan to Feyenoord should give the 24-year-old the necessary match practice.

In Rotterdam, however, Björkan's situation is even more hopeless than at BSC: The left-back was only used once for the top Dutch club! Last weekend he didn't even make the matchday squad.

According to the portal 1908.nl, which is close to Feyenoord, the loan is about to be canceled during the winter break. It is not yet clear what will happen next for Björkan. It is highly doubtful that he would play a bigger role at Hertha - it is more likely that the 24-year-old will go directly to the next club.
