"Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" clocked up 82.1 million viewing hours after just three days - with a film length of more than two hours. As a result, 35 million households in more than 93 countries wanted to see the new thriller. According to "People" magazine, this number is slightly below that of Sandra Bullock's (58) production "The Unforgivable", which was viewed 85.86 million hours last December.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery ran in select theaters for just one week beginning November 23, 2022, a month before it premiered on Netflix. According to Box Office Mojo, the film grossed just over $13 million in the US.

In the film Daniel Craig embodies the detective Benoit Blanc as in "Knives Out". Otherwise there is no connection to the predecessor. There is a new cast and a new setting. Among others, Edward Norton (53), Dave Bautista (53) and Kate Hudson (43) appear. Instead of cold Massachusetts, the sequel also takes place on a Greek island.
