As stated in a press release from ARD, it will be about the crisis the population is in with the current inflation, concerns about energy shortages and the Ukraine war.

The Federal President's speech to the citizens is to be broadcast from 11:00 a.m. on the first. For the deaf and hard of hearing, the production is subtitled live in the ARD text on page 150.

Tina Hassel (58) will lead through the special broadcast and then ask the political scientist Professor Torben Lütjen about his assessment of the speech.
