Singer: Justin Bieber interrupts world tour again

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber (28, "Sorry") is temporarily canceling his world tour due to illness. Six concerts in Europe would have demanded a lot from him and at a weekend performance in Rio de Janeiro he gave everything for the people of Brazil, Bieber wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.

"After coming off the stage, exhaustion hit me and I realized that right now I have to make my health a priority," the singer explained. "So I'm going to pause the tour until further notice. I'll be fine but I need time to rest and get better."

Bieber suffers from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

Bieber revealed in June that he had Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which left his face partially paralyzed. He then canceled several planned US concerts on the "Justice World Tour" in June and July. In Germany, the musician has scheduled the next concerts in 2023 in Hamburg (January 16), Cologne (January 31), Frankfurt (February 2), Berlin (February 4) and Munich (March 9).

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox, according to the Mayo Clinic website. The syndrome is an outbreak of shingles that affects the facial nerve near one ear and can lead to unilateral facial paralysis and hearing loss.
