The picture causes a heated discussion: a photo of TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian adorns the cover of the latest issue of the US magazine "Interview Magazine" (founded by artist Andy Warhol in 1969).

The current issue of the magazine is subtitled "American Dream Issue". In the magazine, Kardashian reports, among other things, what the American dream means to her and had herself photographed in a number of poses for the interview – the editors present a selection of the photos on Instagram. The cover picture, in particular, sparked lively discussions. It shows the 41-year-old, almost unrecognizable, with platinum blonde hair and a lascivious denim jacket in front of the star-spangled banner, the national flag of the United States - more USA cliché is almost impossible. But it is primarily Kardashian's butt clad only in a thong that draws attention, which takes up a lot of space on the front page.

"Seriously," ask readers. "Is this supposed to be conceptual art? Or funny", "How did we get there?" "That's obscene" or "What the hell" are other critical reactions to the cover. Apparently, many of the readers are offended by the fact that the cover of the renowned glossy magazine shows a woman who has become known through trash TV, among other things. But the type of staging also repels some.

Others, however, praise the cover photo. Especially the fans of Kardashian seem over the moon: "Oh my God", "Kim for President", "You look great!" or "Lovely!" are some of the comments.

The creators of "Interview Magazine" have definitely achieved one thing with the already controversial cover: drawing attention to their September issue.
