The first new ARD "crime scene" after a ten-week summer break won the quota race on Sunday evening. The revived 90s spectacle "The 100,000 Mark Show" on RTL with Ulla Kock am Brink took third place in prime time.
On average, from 8:15 p.m., 8.27 million (29.8 percent market share) followed the Ludwigshafener "Tatort: Das Verhör" from SWR with Lena Odenthal and Johanna Stern (Ulrike Folkerts and Lisa Bitter). 3.55 million (12.8 percent) saw the ZDF film "Spring - No Fear of Life", repeated from 2020, with Simone Thomalla as the village helper. The three-hour RTL action game "The 100,000 Mark Show" turned on 1.66 million (7.2 percent).
The first edition of "RTL Aktuell" from the new news studio of the Cologne-based private broadcaster saw 2.53 million (14.8 percent) from 6.45 p.m. Peter Kloeppel and Ulrike von der Groeben moderated.
For comparison: 2.46 million (13.8 percent) watched the 7 p.m. “Today” show in the second. The 8 p.m. “Tagesschau” alone came to 6.34 million (25.9 percent) in the first.
