Freddy Schenk (Dietmar Bär) is alarmed because an arson attack has been carried out on his daughter Sonja's (Natalie Spinell) restaurant. In the burned out "miracle lamp" the police find a charred corpse beyond recognition. Together with Max Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt), Freddy Schenk takes up the investigation. But first he wants to ensure that Sonja, his granddaughter Frida and Sonja's partner Karim (Timur Isik) find shelter in a police shelter.

The journey of the "Dream Ship" takes Captain Max Parger (Florian Silbereisen) and his crew to the Bahamas. 20 years earlier, Melanie and her husband Philip Singer met and fell in love there. But Melanie's memories are clouded because she was in a coma for three weeks after a boat accident. The journey uncovers a truth that threatens to strain their marriage. Also on board is the psychotherapist Dr. Marie Wagner (Carolina Vera). She is accompanied by her son Tom (Maurice Lattke), who, newly in love, brings his new girlfriend Clara Müller (Lore Richter) on board. What he doesn't know: his mother is the therapist of the much older Clara.

But when Freddie wants to take off as a solo artist, the band seems to be on the brink of collapse.
