Local mayor Claudia Voss (Anna Schudt) faces a challenge: The district decides to set up a home for refugees in the tranquil town of Neustadt-Linden of all places. Claudia wants to make the best of the situation, but plans for the shared accommodation quickly meet resistance, led by entrepreneur Veith Landauer (Alexander Beyer). At first, Claudia had no idea that the right-wing scene was increasingly targeting her.

Simmental breeder Michael K. is looking forward to his visitor - and it's going to be great! Michael N., on the other hand, simply cannot decide. That really gets on the women's nerves. Things get romantic with the nurse cow owner Jörg and his lady-in-waiting. Still, the tears flow freely.

The surgeon dr. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) lives in Chicago. One evening he surprises a burglar who has fatally injured his wife Helen (Sela Ward). Since the doctor benefits from a high life insurance policy, the police suspect Kimble himself as the murderer. He is sentenced to death in court. On the way to execution, Kimble miraculously escapes and from then on has only one goal: to find his wife's killer. But it's getting tight for him: The relentless marshal Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) has set himself on Kimble's trail, determined to confront him.

Amy Silva (Suranne Jones) investigates Burke's death aboard the Vigil. Her colleague Kirsten Longacre (Rose Leslie) is conducting parallel investigations on land, where there has been another murder. Craig Burke was poisoned on board the sub, Amy arrested the first officer. However, clues on a USB stick reveal new suspects. Burke's girlfriend, Jade Antoniak (Lauren Lyle), died a violent death on land. Both cases must be related.
