the Summer of 1944, Jack Kerouac was 22 years ago. He "gets off" his life to the fullest : booze, drugs, orgies and prostitution. Of very open mind, accept all the equity in his bed. Girl or boy, everything suits him. He attended Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs and, especially, Lucien Carr, a brilliant fellow of 19 years, which was all put into a relationship. This is the beat generation. Jack has already written a first novel (The sea is my brother) and started Before the road. Between the two shipments as a sailor on merchant ships, he surrenders himself to life underground in new york.
