Kanye West calls out Kim Kardashian’s coparenting in a public Instagram Post.
On Saturday night, the musician and fashion mogul shared a screenshot on Instagram that appears to be from his Netflix documentary, "Jeen-yuhs". It shows him looking a little sad as his mother, Donda tries to comfort him.
The caption of the screenshot reads.
The post asks West about the fairness of Kardashian and his co-parenting relationship to their children North, Chicago Saint, Saint, and Psalm. He claims that his ex was responsible for preventing him from taking the kids on a trip. He didn't specify whether the trip had been planned previously or not.
"I WANT MY KIDS TO VISIT MY HOME TOWN CHICAGO TO SEE MY BAKETBALL TEAM PLAY OVER 7 THOUSAND PEOPLE, AND KIM IS STOPPING THAT THIS JOINT CUSTODY IS EVIL!" West wrote.
Fox News reached out to Kim Kardashian's representatives but they did not immediately reply.
This is the latest in a long-running feud between the ex-spouses. It began after West posted on social media his disgust at his ex-wife letting North, their 8-year old daughter, have a TikTok profile.
"SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVOCATION, I MUST KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO BEFORE MY DAUGHTER IS TIK TOK AGAINST ME WILL." The 44-year old wrote in a separate post.
Kim's spokesperson previously provided Fox News Digital with the following response statement:
"Kanye's constant attacks against me in interviews, on social media, is actually more hurtful that any TikTok North might make," she wrote. "As the primary caregiver and provider for our children, my goal is to protect my daughter. I will also allow her to express herself in whatever medium she chooses with adult supervision. It brings her joy.
She said, "Divorce is hard enough for our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying so negatively to control and manipulate the situation so publicly and negatively is only causing more pain for all." "I have always wanted a supportive and healthy co-parenting relationship for my children since the beginning. It is what I believe is best for them and it is sad that Kanye keeps trying to make it impossible."
She concluded her statement by saying that she wanted to deal with all matters concerning our children privately.
In another Instagram post, West questioned some of the statements made by reality star about their situation.
"What does it mean to be the main provider?" West asked about Kardashian's claim that she is their primary caregiver.
Kanye said, "America saw that you tried to kid-nap [sic] my child on her birthday by not giving the address. You placed security on me inside the house to play and then accused me stealing. I had to take a test after [daughter] Chicago’s party cause Tracy Romulus accused me being on drugs [Kardashian’s chief marketing officer] Tracy Romulus stopped manipulating Kim to look this way ..."
In a video shared with , West claimed that Kardashian and her family had refused him Chicago's birthday party address. According to social media photos, West was seen at the party. Fox News Digital reported that the address of the party was provided to West immediately he requested it.
After nearly eight years of marriage, the 41-year old filed for divorce in West, according to court records. This is the end of one of the most popular celebrity marriages of the 21st Century.
Kardashian seeks joint custody of her children. Her filing states that she and her husband have a prenuptial arrangement which will govern how their assets are divided. The agreement cites irreconcilable disagreements for their separation and doesn't list a date.
They began dating in 2012, and they had their first child in 2013. West proposed later that same year, using the huge screen at the San Francisco Giants' empty waterfront ballpark. The couple were married in Florence on May 24, 2014.
