The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, and the director of the Prado Museum, Miguel Falomir, held a meeting on Tuesday through which collaboration has been promoted to bring works from the national art gallery linked to said territory to Valencian museums .

In this way, the Generalitat will advance in this collaboration with the Prado Museum to increase the presence of the collection of the national museum institution in the museums of the Valencian Community.

Thus, the Valencian art galleries will be able to enjoy the Prado's deposit of works related to the Community, either by their authors or by the themes represented in them, which will serve "to enrich their exhibition offer while promoting knowledge of collections del Prado that are not currently on permanent display".

In this context, Puig has described the meeting as "very satisfactory" and has shown his willingness to reactivate relations between the Generalitat and El Prado through these collaboration formulas, which are part of the Prado National Museum Action Plan 2022- 2025 in order to promote the visibility of the collection throughout the Spanish territory.
