Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz did not participate in last week's team's final OTA practice, but he will reportedly return to the fold for this week’s minicamp.
NFL Media's Tom Pelissero reports that Schultz will join the team on Tuesday. Schultz was franchise-tagged in the offseason, and he signed the tender. However, he has not completed the voluntary work while he searches for a long-term contract.
Pelissero reports that talks have intensified recently about a possible deal and that both sides have until July 15th to reach a conclusion.
Schultz will receive $10.931 million if they don't reach an agreement.
