Provisional prison for the man who stabbed his partner 17 times in Pinto

The Court of Violence against Women of Parla has decreed this Tuesday the provisional prison communicated and without bail for Javier M. G., the 43-year-old man who stabbed his partner last Sunday in the Madrid town of Pinto.

The individual is accused of committing a crime of attempted murder, although it could vary throughout the investigation. Regardless of the prison order, the judge has also prohibited the person under investigation from entering Pinto during the investigation of the process, as well as from approaching less than a thousand meters from the victim and communicating with her through any means.

The defendant, who in the course of the statement has only consented to answer the questions asked by his lawyer, has been taken by the State Security Corps and Forces to the Valdemoro prison.

The 41-year-old Spanish woman, brutally attacked, received 17 stab wounds, but is already recovering on the floor of the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid, the Government delegate in Madrid, Mercedes González, reported on Tuesday.

After participating in the Local Security Board of Torrejón de Ardoz, González has indicated that, despite the teaching of her boyfriend, thanks to the rapid action of the health services, this victim has been able to survive and is already recovering in hospital. On Monday she was in the ICU in serious condition.
