Rioters demolished numerous cars in Berlin-Mitte on Saturday night. According to the police, around 20 people walked through Seydelstraße and damaged at least 18 vehicles. A police spokesman said two people were arrested.

The rbb reported that, according to eyewitness reports, there were even around 30 people who, among other things, threw Bengalos into cars on the way from Seydelstraße to Neue Grünstraße. The police have extinguished a fire in a charging electric rental car. At least one other vehicle was completely burned out, the station reported.

In addition, according to rbb, the group is said to have smashed more than 20 window panes from different trades. Paint bags were thrown at the facade of a job center and slogans were scrawled on the walls.
