The Seattle Kraken with ice hockey national goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer missed the entry into the playoff quarterfinals of the North American professional league NHL in the first attempt. The Kraken lost 4-1 at home to defending champion Colorado Avalanche and are now 3-3 in the best-of-seven series. The decisive seventh game takes place in Colorado on Monday night.

Seattle held a 1-0 lead through Vince Dunn in game six of the series, but the Avalanche turned up the heat and dominated the game after that. Grubauer, who scored for Colorado between 2018 and 2021, saved 35 of 38 shots on goal and was the best player on his team. Artturi Lehkonen scored twice for the Avalanche and put the end of the game with a goal with 12 seconds remaining.

Another decider

The Boston Bruins also surprisingly have to play in a game seven. The best team of the regular season, which had set a win and points record in the NHL in the main round, lost 5-7 in a wild game at the Florida Panthers.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Hurricanes and the Dallas Stars are one round ahead.
