The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, took advantage of his stay in Zagreb this Monday to announce that the Governing Council is going to approve a new transport agreement with the Community of Madrid on Tuesday "on the basis of the above» and for the period 2022/2023.

Endowed with an investment of 15.5 million euros, it will benefit some 35,000 people, including 28,500 young people. This agreement, the president pointed out, "guarantees brotherhood in transport between both communities and affects thousands of families."

According to the previous agreement, young people from both regions can travel for 20 euros per month to the Community of Madrid, since the remaining price is subsidized up to the effective cost of the season ticket.

The financing of this agreement is distributed between both autonomous communities according to the residence of the subscribers and their mobility.
