The Stop Concerts Platform and the Moviment Diagonal Mar have denounced this Thursday the lieutenants of mayor Jaume Collboni (PSC) and Jordi Martí (BComú), and the councilor of the district of Sant Martí, David Escudé (PSC), for the high pollution Primavera Sound, according to a joint statement.

The complaint, consulted by Ep, has been registered in the Barcelona Guard Court, and regrets the noise pollution that "is repeatedly suffered in the surroundings of the houses near the Parc del Fòrum" during the days in which the festival is celebrated .

The platform has explained that they have filed a complaint against Escudé "as the person most responsible for awarding authorizations for music festivals held in the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona."

In the case of Collboni, he has been accused of chairing the company B: SM as manager of the Parc del Fòrum spaces, and the head of Culture, Jordi Martí, for chairing the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), a public entity in charge of programming different events in Barcelona, among which those that affect the Parc del Fòrum ».

«After having held meetings on multiple occasions, over the years, with those responsible for the City Council and promoters of musical events, warning them of the continuous noise annoyance caused by open-air concerts in the Parc del Fòrum, and of not having obtained any response to the repeated complaints, we have not been forced to seek protection from the justice", they have argued.

In addition, they have said that they will start an information campaign among other entities in the neighborhoods, neighborhood communities and traditional businesses to explain the situation and "continue adding those people who may feel affected by this problem."
