'You've gone too far': Elon Musk bans Kanye West on Twitter

Kanye West (45) has been blocked on Twitter. Most recently, Ye, as the rapper officially calls himself, posted a photo in which a Star of David merged with a swastika.

Twitter boss Elon Musk (51) tweeted that he had blocked the musician for "inciting violence". Musk wrote: "I did my best. However, he again violated our incitement to violence rule. The account will be suspended." Musk also denied rumors that he had suspended the account because of an unflattering photo of him. "Honestly, I found these pictures to be a helpful motivation to lose weight!"

Allegedly, the ban will only last 12 hours, according to screenshots West is said to have posted on another platform. There, the rapper also shared a conversation with Musk, in which he writes: "I'm sorry, but you've gone too far. This is not love," Musk said. Kanye responded with, "Who made you judge".

Kanye West had previously caused outrage in an interview with right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones (48). There he announced, among other things, that he loved Nazis and liked Hitler.
