Oliver Welke (56) has been infected with the corona virus and is in quarantine at home. This was announced by ZDF this Friday (October 14). The moderator of the ZDF satirical show "heute-show" is therefore unable to present Friday's edition, but it does not have to be canceled. The broadcaster found a replacement at short notice.

Till Reiners (37), ensemble member of the satire show, will act as host. The stand-up comedian and podcaster is a regular guest and contributor in satirical TV formats such as "Die Anstalt" or "Happy Hour". ZDF will show the "heute-show" episode with him as host on Friday, October 14 at 10:30 p.m. Till Reiners welcomes Gisa Flake (37), Olaf Schubert (54) and Claus von Wagner (44).

The "Today Show" premiered in 2009. Since then, the satirical format, designed in the style of a news program, has had numerous successes, including the Grimme Prize and the Bambi. It won the German Comedy Award for best comedy show or satirical show several times.
