Vanessa Mai (30) is expanding her TV career: In October, the singer will have her own documentary series on the first. As the broadcaster reports, there are "unusually intimate home stories and interview situations" to see. In addition, "MAI time is now" gives exciting insights into the Schlager system and the singer's everyday life. Vanessa Mai talks about false friends and the people who are most important to her.

The documentary series accompanies her at her first concert after the Corona lockdowns and since her break in 2019. At that time she had canceled her tour due to the pressure to succeed. "MAY time is now" will run from October 22 following the "Daily Topics" in the first. Three episodes are planned, each 30 minutes.

It's not Vanessa Mai's only TV project: last week, the singer announced another format on Instagram. "Hopefully 'Not Mai Show' will stream into your hearts soon," she wrote about several photos showing her with fellow musician Tim Bendzko (37).

As the SWR reported, it is a game show. Bendzko is therefore the guest of the first edition. The male and female singers face a number of challenges before a grand duet finale. The pictures from the shoot show that Bendzko will appear soaking wet and in a bear costume. According to SWR, "Not Mai Show" will be shown in the ARD media library in autumn.

Vanessa Mai has had her format "On Mai Way" in the ARD media library and on YouTube since 2020. In the talk show, Mai competes sportily with her guests as a presenter. There are now four seasons of the show.
