Two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey (63) testified against him in court in the trial. His fellow actor Anthony Rapp (50), known from the sci-fi series "Star Trek: Discovery", accuses him of sexually molesting him in 1986, when Rapp was just 14 years old. Spacey has now denied the allegations on the witness stand. These are "not true," the actor explained, according to CNN.

Rapp had previously testified that after meeting Spacey a few days later, he was invited to a party at Spacey's New York apartment. The sexual assault is said to have happened that evening. When the other guests left, Spacey came up to him and picked him up - "like a bridegroom carries his bride over the threshold". Spacey seemed dazed, Rapp explained. Spacey then reportedly leaned on him "with his full weight" and held his arms while he pressed his crotch to Rapp's waist.

"That's when I knew something was wrong. I got the feeling that I had to get out of there. But I also felt frozen," said Rapp on the witness stand. He finally managed to "squirm out from under him" and left the apartment a little later.

Prior to Spacey's testimony, Judge Lewis Kaplan dismissed Rapp's lawsuit alleging intentional infliction of mental distress on Monday, according to CNN. This repeats the allegations of assault against Spacey. However, he let the assault suit stand, which will be reviewed after Spacey's testimony and closing arguments.
