Why this choice ? The silvaner has long been regarded as the adjustment variable of the vineyard region. To him, the fertile plains and vineyards overwhelmed by the weight of the grapes ; the great of the Alsace region, the grape varieties known as "noble" (riesling, gewurztraminer, muscat, pinot gris), the vineyards with the best exposure, the grands crus and the yields are controlled. But product to more than 100 hectolitres to the hectare, no grape makes good wine, not more silvaner than the other.
Long neglected, it is income through the past few years that will meet the growing demand...
