Robbie Anderson deletes tweet suggesting potential retirement

Robbie Anderson, Panthers receiver (also known as Robby) Anderson posted Saturday that he was considering retiring. The tweet was later deleted.

This could mean that Anderson has changed his mind regarding retiring or that he is rethinking his decision to let the world know that he was thinking about retiring.

As the annual mandatory minicamp approached, the message was received. He'll probably be there, it seems. Most likely, someone from the company will ask him if he really wants to quit.

Anderson's reaction to Anderson's response to the potential acquisition of Brown quarterback Baker Mayfield suggests that Anderson may have noticed a Mayfield arrival.

Perhaps the reactions subsided after it was explained that retirement could result in him having to pay $7.6million in unearned signing bonus money. This may also include a substantial chunk of a restructuring bonus he received earlier this year. This knowledge would definitely be a factor in any final decisions, or at the very least should be.
